Personal Message

Hello!

I would like to introduce you to Parkletics, a product range and brand of which I am immensely proud. Parkletics was an idea born from a need I identified when looking to develop my own local park. As a parent and key member of a community group I was heavily involved in the creation of a small local park space. Alongside the play area and landscaping we were also keen to include some fitness equipment, however I wanted something that was appropriate for all people, at all levels of fitness, offering graduated activities. This started me on a quest to find out more about fitness, its inhibitors and motivators in order to try and find the best equipment to suit my local community and all of its members.

So much can be achieved using body weight exercises, which also means that equipment can be simplified and therefore maintenance reduced – a critical factor for cash poor councils and community groups. We also discovered that we could effectively work all key muscle groups with only five pieces of equipment. Our designs were softer than traditional outdoor gym equipment, utilising wood and muted tones to fit more harmoniously into green spaces. All of these factors combine to provide a robust selection of products that work together to provide a full body workout for all users, regardless of their own particular level of fitness.

However, guidance and support on how to get the most out of the equipment are key in promoting correct use. We have developed a freely accessible Parkletics app. Using the app we are able to offer detailed support, videos on how to get the best out of the equipment, workout tracking and access to an online community.

In essence, this is what Parkletics stands for. A low maintenance suite of products, all designed to present variable levels of challenge and minimum maintenance, used alongside a freely accessible app which enhances the workout experience, gives you targeted goals and motivates users to get moving and get fitter.

We believe we offer one of the best outdoor fitness solutions available and hope that you can see how our products would work for you and your community.

Because the equipment focuses on low level resistance there are currently limitations in tailoring it to different levels of fittness/age groups.
